Hi Peter,

100% agree about avoiding a graphical check mark.

What would you think about using the Liberation Sans "Combining Asterisk Above" special character (U+20F0) to indicate those functions that can only be accessed through the toolbar's right-click menu?

Regards,

Steve

Hello Steve

The layout for Standard toolbar is my preference.

The check mark is Zapf Dingbats font. Maybe that is why you get the font
substitution message. I shall think of an alternative to use in Liberation Sans
font. Any ideas?

I want to avoid using a graphic for the check mark. In macOS a check mark is
used in Visible Buttons and in Windows the icon is highlighted for tools
installed on a toolbar.

 Hi Peter,

Thanks again for your efforts on this.

I prefer the layout of information in the Standard toolbar section. To me it
feels more concise than the table used for the Line and Filling toolbar.

My only question refers to the tick character. With one of these ticks selected, on my
computer Writer reports that "the current font is not available and will be
substituted" (in the tooltip on the Font Name box). The tick is visible but I
wondered whether that will be the case for all users?

 Regards,

 Steve

Subject: [libreoffice-documentation] Impress Guide - Toolbar Appendix 2nd
Example

 Hello

After some suggestions from the LO Doc Team, I have uploaded a second example
IG7013-Toolbars-Example-Appendix-02 for the Impress Guide 7.0.

Standard toolbar now has a numbered list in columns instead of a screenshot
for Visible Buttons.
Line and Filling toolbar has a table instead of a screenshot for Visible
Buttons.

Comments and suggestions are more than welcome.
