my 02 has a 2.7. I had the oil light come on a while back....the dealer said it was the oil sender and I had it replaced... about 3000 miles later...it is time for my oil change and the light comes on again!!!! NO OIL on the stick. Soooo, I only put 4 qts in and took it back to the dealer.... now they say something else is wrong. They are having me come back ever 500 miles for a test. Turns out the stick showed NONE but there was plenty that came out. He said for some reason it is laying in the bottom half of the engine. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???? I am at 67000 miles now so I am like PLEASE fix this before the warranty is up to the service man. He just did a 500 mile test today and said no oil was used. I know what will happen... nothing will happen till the warranty is up!!!!
any one else had this problem? I am a single woman barely making it working 3 jobs and money is not available to me. My x messed up our credit so bad. So I can not go trade this car in like the dealer suggested. (they just want more money from me) .
