I was told that by the mechanic at the dealership a while back when this first
started...I checked and all looked good and when I get my gas I place the lid
on TIGHT. I have a mechanic going to look it over this week.

That is a generic code for the evap system. I wouldn't worry about it. The most
common cause is a loose or bad gas cap. Make sure it is tight, very tight.
Reset the computer by disconnecting the negative battery cable for 10 minutes.
The check engine light should go off. If it comes back on, try replacing the
gas cap before spending serious money trying to find the problem. As for the
not starting, there should be another error code.

HELP!!! My car has not been right in several months. I had it at the dealer and
they said the computer said it had emissions problems, but since he drove it
for 11 miles and it ran good...he gave it back and said it seemed to be ok.

ALRIGHT, I know I should have never took it there but because of all the
problems I had they were going to work with me on money, I am a divorced woman
now and needed some help like that.

Any how the car has continued to run the same, hesitates now and then. Gas
mileage seems bad. Now the other day it would not start. Seemed like it was out
of gas. After several tried and 15 minutes later it started.

WHILE at the shop, the computer reading showed that possibilities were all
relating to the

Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow

I have looked in my book and can not find these things. Can someone please tell
me where this is located.

And has any one every had this problem with this code before??? If so what
fixed it.

The darn dealer said I would just have to start eliminating things...I do not
have the money to just play that game of repair.
