I was told that by the mechanic at the dealership a while back when this first started...I checked and all looked good and when I get my gas I place the lid on TIGHT. I have a mechanic going to look it over this week. ~Pam~

The most common cause is a loose or bad gas cap. Make sure it is tight, very tight. Reset the computer by disconnecting the negative battery cable for 10 minutes. The check engine light should go off. If it comes back on, try replacing the gas cap before spending serious money trying to find the problem.
