got my car to a local mechanic whom I know from when I was married. He has a
very good rep. He said I needed my Cam shaft sensor replaced. And as far as the
emissions code he felt I would be fine. I am very happy, price was decent, 50
part and 100 for testing and labor. Poor gal can handle that. Car is good so
far.
I am worried because now that car is not acting up with the engine jerking I
have noticed some slipping with the transmission. Going up a hill by my house
yesterday and today it seemed like it should have shifted and never Like the
car was pulling hard. Then several times as I took off from a red light I got a
hard shift.
It has a little over 90,000 miles on it now. Could it need fluid and bands
replaced??? Someone said DO NOT do this or the transmission will be gone due to
the thick oil is all holding it together. Tranny probs are popular in these
cars.
I do not hear a lot of complaints on here. What do you guys think??
