Luckily I started my 3000 hour inspection before Hawker Pacific got too
involved.
However I did have a problem in that Diamond insisted that the documentation
was only available in German. I paid a person to start translating it when
another option came up.
That was to make it plain to Diamond that part of their requirement for type
approval of their products in Australia was to supply documentation and support
in english.
An english version turned up soon after that and it had been in print for at
least three years.

Best of luck, just apply more pressure.

John Callahan.

Has anyone actually managed to find a contact at Diamond
/Hawker/elswhere who can get the 3000 hour process started?
I just constantly get fobbed off to someone else and never get called
or emailed back.

H36 II all have the springs but I think the issue is the canopy
jettison mechanism in h36 original model - I will compare tomorrow They are a
good idea........ Ian M

            Hey all!

Is it possible to mount a canopy spring, like those found on the
Super Dimona on the H36?
We just bought a DA20 for our club and those springs really make
the difference.

            Thanks!
