Thanks for the offer but I'm not bothered much by an extension cord or having to bring something back to a bench.
The one thing that I'd very infrequently need ultra portable soldering for is terminating PL-259 connectors on coax. But that tends to require lots of heat and I've found a mini butane torch works great. I'm also trying to move away from those connectors all together. Sova - Sent from my mobile phone, please excuse brevity and typos. ________________________________ From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: 8/27/2014 4:45 PM To: A discussion list for dorkbot-pdx (portland, or)<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: [dorkbotpdx-blabber] USB Rechargeable Soldering Iron Fully Funded on Kickstarter! _______________________________________________ dorkbotpdx-blabber mailing list [email protected] http://music.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/dorkbotpdx-blabber
