My hakko station heats to as much as 800 degrees in 30 seconds and will hold
whatever temp I set with amazing precision.

The butane irons are cheap (and I rarely have a need for them) and having a
single butane refill can under my kitchen sink isn't a big deal. Not like it is
nuclear waste or something hard to store. The lithium in the rechargeable
battery is probably more toxic than the butane.

Sova - Sent from my mobile phone, please excuse brevity and typos.
