I guess it's like wire-to-board connectors, then. I need HELP with that...all my projects seem to need to connect to wires going somewhere, and often on a vehicle. Every other thing on a vehicle has a nifty connector that's the right size & amperage & everything, but they're all different and incompatible, and if you find one that you think might work for your project, then it's either unobtainium or you have to buy a $1000 crimper to make up the other side. Dorks, please help! How can I find board-to-connector sets that are small, weather-rugged, medium current (up to ~10A), and don't require crazy tooling?
