For current handling, I like the Molex Mini-Fit Jr connectors. They go up
to 7-8A per pin, easy to source, and you can use universal crimpers with
them. If you need big current, just parallel up the connections.

I use the Molex 63811-1000 universal crimper, it has a range of slots for
the wire crimp and insulation crimp, labelled by diameter. DigiKey lists
it for $45.99, I seem to remember getting it for less but I don't remember
where.

The Mini-Fit show up in industrial/automotive a bunch, too. They have an
IP67 variant if I remember correctly.
