I just started using hot air for light re-work and shrink tubing. I got one at 
work and I can't go back. I got my eyes on this sparkfun unit for $114.

I'd be interested in seeing some rework magic... Maybe we can do a solder 
station projector on a Monday dorkbot at control H.  I think Mathew has a nice 
USB camera setup for such solder presentations.
