Hmmm. I can't see anything sound related since Saturday night, when
PulseAudio was updated. This is surprising to me because:
1. Although I was away from Monday until Wednesday evening, I would have
thought I would noticed it on Sunday.
2. In the Systems Settings/Multimedia dialogue, HDA ATI SB is shown as
preferred for everything. (Yes I know it is only preferred, not selected).
Having said that, when I press the 'Test' button in the above settings
dialogue, HDA ATI SB plays a tune whereas PulseAudio doesn't. I don't
remember this ever working through.
I've uploaded the console output to:
http://www.hadrian-way.co.uk/Misc/Console.txt
in case anyone can see anything else in there.
