http://www.hadrian-way.co.uk/Misc/Console.txt suggests it wasn't updated, but selected when it had been previously deselected. IOW, chosen to be installed, e.g. Selecting previously deselected package gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio. Updates to installed packages look more like Preparing to replace libmono0 1.2.6+dfsg-6ubuntu3 (using .../libmono0_1.2.6+dfsg-6ubuntu3.1_i386.deb) ... > thought I would noticed it on Sunday. Perhaps a reboot after the switch to pulseaudio broke things, rather than the install itself? last(1) will show when boots occurred if you leave your machine switched on overnight, e.g. `last reboot'.
