Hi All, I've been receiving all your emails for a couple of years, but never got round to doing anything myself. I've finally installed Ubuntu Server on a machine which I'd like to use as a Scout server (I'm also a Scout Leader), with file storage, mail server, web server and maybe more. The idea being that all my leaders can reach this server at any time. The only thing is, I know next to nothing about Linux! Can any of you recommend a good starting place, like a particular web site or book.
The server has only got the core installation on it, and maybe the web server, but I'm not sure as I didn't fully understand what I was doing when I installed it! I look forward to any comments and advice, and thank you all in advance.
