DoudouLinux pune la dispoziție un utilitar pentru controlul parental al
cărui rol este de a ajuta părinții în încercarea acestora de a asigura
copiilor un mediu sigur. În acest moment utilitarul este compus dintr-un
filtru inteligent pentru accesarea paginilor web. Noi credem că, pentru un
mediu dedicat copiilor, este o măsură care trebuia luată neapărat, în
așteptarea primei versiuni oficiale stabile. Avem în plan ca pe viitor
să implementăm utilitare opționale care vor putea limita numărul de ore

DoudouLinux provides a tool for parental controls whose role is to bring
still more security to parents. Right now it is made of a smart web page
access filter. We believe that for an environment dedicated to children,
this is the minimum to provide while waiting for a first official stable
version. We plan thereafter to implement optional tools in order to limit
hours of day to use DoudouLinux or even the daily use duration. This would

DoudouLinux est fourni avec un outil de contrôle parental destiné à
assurer encore plus de sécurité pour les parents. Pour le moment il se
présente sous la forme d’un filtre d’accès aux pages web intelligent
qui est décrit plus loin. Nous avons estimé que pour un environnement
dédié aux enfants, c’était le minimum à fournir en l’attente
d’une première version stable officielle. Nous envisageons d’intégrer
par la suite des outils optionnels pour limiter les heures de la journée

DansGuardian – это фильтр контента DoudouLinux,
который не дает детям попасть на
«двусмысленный» веб-сайт. DansGuardian состоит
из двух компонентов: черного списка
адресов URL и анализа контента в реальном
времени. Второй компонент нуждается в
переводе, поскольку он использует список
выражений, которые известны как
двусмысленные или, наоборот, безопасные.
Каждому слову и выражению приписывается
вес ,который увеличивает или уменьшает
общий вес страницы. Страница считается
двусмысленной как только ее вес
достигает 50 согласно конфигурации

Если вы хотите импортировать или
экспортировать данные из или в DoudouLinux,
можно использовать стандартные
USB-устройства: флэш-карты, USB-диски и даже
карты памяти от фотоаппаратов ( SD, CF, XD и
т.п.). Такие USB-устройства определяются
автоматически. Однако они не
отображаются в системе автоматически: их
нужно активировать/деактивировать через
файловый менеджер. Внимание! Если вам
надо сохранить данные, измененные во
время сессии DoudouLinux, лучше
активировать[сохраняемость данных>article
161] на USB-носителе. Сохранение данных

DoudouLinux включает программу для
родительского контроля, которая
призвана привнести еще большую
безопасность для родителей. По нашему
мнению, такой минимум необходим для
системы, ориентированный на детей, пока
мы не выпустили официальную стабильную
версию. В будущем планируется добавить
инструменты, ограничивающие время
работы в DoudouLinux либо установка дневного
лимита времени. Это должно облегчить
привыкание к разумному использованию
компьютера, если этим вы поглощены [1].

** Installing DoudouLinux definitively **

People frequently ask for the possibility to definitively install
DoudouLinux onto a computer which would then be dedicated to children.
Although this was not a major objective of the project, this function was
integrated as a result of several user’s requests. Please remember that
one of the primary goals of DoudouLinux is to allow children to use the
computer without the risk of damaging data already stored in the machine.

** Creating a DoudouLinux USB key **

As indicated on the page Get DoudouLinux, once you have downloaded the
image file for the USB key version, simply copying this file onto an USB
key will not give you a working DoudouLinux USB key. You must use a special
tool which will create a copy of the hard disk structure embedded in the
downloaded image file directly onto the USB key. This operation will
definitively erase the whole content of the target USB key. Thus, if you
are not familiar with this kind of operation, you must know (...)

** Translating DansGuardian **

DansGuardian is the DoudouLinux web content filter which prevents children
from consulting “naughty” sites or pages. There are two components in
DansGuardian: URL blacklisting and real-time content analysis. The second
one is subject to translations because it uses a list of words or
expressions that are known to be naughty or on the contrary safe. Each word
or expression is given a score that increases or decreases the total score
of a page. The page is declared “naughty” as soon as its score (...)

** 0. Status of application icons **

Application icons are shown on the desktop in the two most advanced
DoudouLinux sessions. They have a name displayed below the icon and a
description showed when the mouse cursor is above the icon. A script named
l10n-report is used to build a table of icon translation status. This
script is run directly from within DoudouLinux because it scans all
installed applications. It is also run automatically while building CD
