Ok great. In the meanwhile I'm making progress in improving Thai localization. Will tell about it in a dedicated email. > 2) Many STAMPS names/descriptions are still in English. Look at my answer in one of my replies to Joe :). > 3) A lot of Stamps have sounds associated to them. Some of them are > noises and some are human voice. I must say I though they were only using voices that do not say intelligible words! Just like I do for Pysycache, I can create sound directories for each language though. So no technical issue at first glance. > 4) In the Linux system that I assembled in 2011 for the "Life-skills > Computer Project" in Chiang Mai, Thailand, I installed Tuxpaint and > made it available from the desktop, in addition to the one in > Gcompris. I checked the Debian package dependencies and GCompris has Tuxpaint as one of its suggested dependencies: https://packages.debian.org/wheezy/gcompris Taking into account the Debian policy (= don't duplicate libs and so across applications, to lower maintenance), changing Tuxpaint will likely change the Tuxpaint inside GCompris too. This is my feeling. Cheers, JM. _______________________________________________ Doudoulinux-lang mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/doudoulinux-lang
