Ok great. In the meanwhile I'm making progress in improving Thai
localization. Will tell about it in a dedicated email.

Look at my answer in one of my replies to Joe :).

I must say I though they were only using voices that do not say
intelligible words! Just like I do for Pysycache, I can create sound
directories for each language though. So no technical issue at first
glance.

I checked the Debian package dependencies and GCompris has Tuxpaint as
one of its suggested dependencies:

https://packages.debian.org/wheezy/gcompris

Taking into account the Debian policy (= don't duplicate libs and so
across applications, to lower maintenance), changing Tuxpaint will
likely change the Tuxpaint inside GCompris too. This is my feeling.

Cheers,
JM.
