Von: Paul Cockings <ds...@cytringan.co.uk>My point was: Maybe this isn't such a good idea (it looks really messy). Maybe we just use a short one line email (in multi language) to direct people towards a webpage? (extension of web-gui that requires no auth)

That would be better.

This whole language stuff is getting boring. I mean: it's getting boring to work around
the limits of DSPAM. I am pretty close in sitting down and adding a configuration option
to allow to set a language code for users and use that to control what language to
display in the Web UI and what message to send to the end user. My "boring
level" regarding that issue is slowly reaching his maximum so if you continue
messing around with the language stuff then I might go and add that code :).

I'm happy for any quick fixes, we all know this will be an important part of a future full re-write --- ie 4.0 or beyond. Maybe you don't need to go as far with config option, we already take an attempt to work out what the browser is set to - Maybe a drop down box with override (ie in foreign web cafe) would do. I guess a cookie would need to be set to remember the language option for the other pages.... hmm... your right this is dull, and its dull becuase its a quick fix and not doing the job properly! - you just can't win
