i use office 98, and it's alright.  it does what you want it to do, 
but it's a little annoying at times, just like most software.  it's a 
RAM hog, it's kind of imperialistic. if it ever finds extensions that 
are missing it will restore the extension set.  so when i'm in audio 
mode, and the MS inits are off, if i happen to launch Office by 
mistake it will install it all over again.  pet peeve.  but it is an 
industry standard.  you can send MS 98 docs to an MS 95 system, you 
need to save it as MS 6/95.  also has interface with FileMaker for 
mailing lists etc.

i'd like to know if anyone uses AppleWorks and how they like it.
