Shouldn't have a problem any more. Got my new PRAM battery today, and
installed it. My date and time is now correct.
But let me take this opportunity for any of you guys looking for a PRAM
battery for your DUO 280C. I got mine from www.powerbooksplus.com.
They have a kit which includes the torx screwdriver, instructions and
battery for 22.50. But if you only need the battery then it is 17.50.
The battery is the correct type (rechargable) and very well made. The
shipping was almost overnight, and was included in the price. I highly
recommend them, also have parts and batteries for other PowerBooks.
Not related, employed by, or otherwise affiliated with them, just a very
happy customer, who is glad to have the correct time on his PowerBook.
