My 270c ( a color Duo) runs 7.1 using Duo Enabler 1.0.

My 280c can't run on 7.1. It requires system 7.1.1 and Duo Enabler 2.0.

I've never heard (someone correct me if I'm wrong) that one
could take just any old system 7.1 installation floppy set,
manually add say the Duo enabler 1.0 to the system folder on the Disk Tools
and/or Install Me First floppy and in this way make their own installation
floppy set for 7.1 that would work on a Duo 270c.

So a 270c owner wishing to install 7.1 needs (if I am correct) a
270c specific installation floppy set of 7.1. Ditto for a 280c owner wishing
to install 7.1.1.

I hope I am wrong about all this so that someone can us the
procedure to make our own 270c and 280c installation floppies of 7.1
