Trishan,
I've just gave it another try, but it didn't work. I'm however starting to
wonder if the second battery I have from Energy+ isn't a Type IV, even if
Sun Remarketing sold it as a Type III. When I'm looking on one side, there
is what appears to be a product number that, BTW, looks suspiciously similar
to the one on the other battery I have, the BTI one, which was sold as a
Type IV. The BTI one has model number "MC-T4" where the serial number is.
The Energy+ one has a very similar sticker with model number "MC-T4EM". That
looks a lot like the other one. The T4 suggest to me it's a "Type IV", so
that might be the reason why I can't flash the recharger. So, I might be
able to get a Type II shortly and I will give it another try at that time. I
still feel I should get a red light when I insert a Type IV. Anybody has a
Type IV battery and a recharger and care to tell me what happens when you
put your Type IV in the Apple recharger?
Thanks!
-Laurent.
