In the future, ask for the apple model number and search the TIL before
bidding. Even post to the list and ask if it is what you think it is and
if it will work. Here's the key to Ebay, so all you young'uns gather round
now:
Save for a few really rare items, another, identical item will come up for
auction very soon. There's almost always another one in the pipeline.
If you are uncertain about an adapter (for example), not 100% certain that
it will work, then don't bid. Search the Apple web sie, ask the list, but
don't sweat it if you miss the end of the auction. There will be another
in a week, maybe two. A month, tops.
Not that this was anything that we didn't already know, but sometimes a
reminder is in order. Otherwise, you end up with a bunch of junk that you
can't use.
