I'm sure it's not the lamp. As I mentioned, I also tried a screen from a
280c and a 250 (actually I think it was a 280 grayscale). Neither of these
would light up although I could still see an image on the screen under a
bright light. These two screens are both good and I tested them on a good
Duo280c, right after trying them on the 2300s. The lamps lit up just like
normal.
It has to be something about the motherboard. I just can't imagine how I
goofed them both up at the same time.
