Ilene, if you are not faint-hearted, just DO IT! The 2400 is more difficult
but if you've had enough gumption to open other computers, you should be OK,
(especially if you've found the others "fairly easy"). Go slowly,
deliberately and carefully. Think, observe, remember and be methodical. Even
surgery is mechanics. If you get in over your head, you can always
backtrack, reassemble and ship it out. Whatever you do, don't make the
amateur mistake of looking for a track pad cable on list next ;-).
