Absolutely true. While I hate taking it apart, mainly because it will
take an hour or two for a careful job, just about the only major thing
that could go wrong is forgetting which screw comes from where. A
printout of the dissassembly instruction is a must, and it's not a bad
idea to tape the screw to the pictures of that print out. Other than
that, set out a couple of hours in a comfortable spot and go at it.

p.s.: I'll probably taking mine apart tonight, after I finish doing
some "must-do" work--just in case. Ilene and I are having similar
battery problems.
