Sydney, thank goodness,  I thought it was just ME!!!  I've got an iMac here 
at work ('mongst the PC hell....."Andy, my computer has locked up....can you 
help???)  running 9.0.4 w/512 megs RAM (thanks, CompBroker!).  Love 
it...except for that strange Sherlock interface.....looks like something 
you'd see on a Radio Shack "educational toy computer" type deal!  8.6 seems 
to be the best on the units at home (and I'm looking for an 8.6 full 
install....I have 8.1 if anyone wants to trade), but I don't think this iMac 
will run on 8.6 (DVD model).  Oh, well.....9.0.4 is better than Windows ME 
(the "Mistake Edition").
