Over here I've tried both SUSE 7.1 PPC Linux & Yellow Dog 2.0 on an SE
iBook.
Yellow Dog very easy to install / partition with but failed to give me sound
or recognise my internal modem.
SUSE took me about three weeks sat there banging my head against the wall
every time it rebooted into a kernel panic. But after preserving here it is
doing my e-mail via USB with my Nokia 6110.
SUSE 7.1 cost me a third of the price of OS X over here, and I still haven't
finished finding out all the things I have on the seven cd's that came with
those lovely manuals!
Now I wonder if I can "Linux" one of my Duo's?
Regards
Ricky
