Alternatively, you could use the shareware app 'wishIwere' which will
enable you to fake out your machine in thinking it's a different type,
to allow the installation of non-supported system folders. I used this
route to get my NewerTech upgraded 540c to run Sys 8.x. Never had a
problem with stability.
