I expect 50k or 52k from BWI Airport using the Earthlink Annapolis dialup
with Global Village 56k/ethernet combo PC card. A low of 21k at the
Ramada Downtown in PHX - phone pretty scratchy/noisy to begin with.
Manhattan almost always 52k with IDT, 50k with earthlink and 44k with
CIS. BOS, Parker House, 44k after clipping directly to wiring in
wall.(Most phones hard wired to wall - really old hotel)
San Juan, CIS, never more than 32k. Seattle, Earthlink, 44k to 52k. Los
Angeles (home), 50k to 52k, IDT, Earthlink, CIS, both with the desktop
(kfex) and the 2400.
All numbers are published, local dial-ups.
I understand 56k only likely in lab type setups.
