Currently connected at 52000 kbps with a GV PCMCIA v90. Use FreePPP and
check the speed on connecting and later through the "Technical Menu" choice
available under the GV "Connected" menu bar graph in the Finder menu.

Interestingly enough... my GV v90 Teleport (in use with a desktop 7300
upgraded to a Vimage 300 Mhz G3 card) and using the same internet
provider, same telephone line will only connect at a maximum 45000-47333.
Go figure???

Service provider in Canada, Internet Direct. Soon to be a moot point
though, ADSL is now available in my neighbourhood (should have it in a week
or two... waiting for an available port) and it should rip through the data
barrier. Yahoo!
