Ron, I'm really not certain how Windows will react, I don't have a Win2000 to try this with right now. But, if you have such a system it would be easy enough to try the recommendations that were listed in the help file and try leaving it set that way with the internal CW feature turned off.
In DXbase 2003, Another possibility would be to simply remove the DriverX related registry entries that are listed in the CW section of the help file. Making sure the Internal CW option is turned off first. You would of course have to reboot from cold boot after modifying the registry. It might be that after removing the DriverX registry stuff, you might have to somehow turn on the hybernate feature after restarting or maybe Windows will recognize that the conflict is no longer present and do it automatically, just not sure. We never tried running without the appropriate registry entries so not sure if my advise is worth much.
