I know it's too late to help you...but the best thing you can ever do.... backup your .mdb files.
And DXBase has a way to do it for you.... Got to the DXBase Program group Select the DXB Utility option Select File Backup from the left side choices. I use a stick drive J:\DXBASE You want to save all your .mdb files... It isn't hard, but you must do it manualy. I tried to have Windows Scheduler but didn't seem to work right. Now there are some cheap even free, automatic offsite backup systems.
