In my mind the simplest and easiest method is the best. Lets not forget, the
thread is about DXbase backup, not protecting your whole hard drive. Accessory
programs - unnecessary. My old method: hunt & peck for the 14 or 15 critical
files - too time consuming. MS-Backup: gimme a break :)
Solution: Use a USB memory stick. Navigate to your DXbase folder; Right-click
on the folder, there will be an option "send to USB Memory". Just copy the
whole folder.....easy. USB2.0 protocol will do it in under 30seconds
Want a little more security over your data, have 2 USB drives and alternate
between them each time you do a backup.
IMHO...........keep it simple, cheers
