I've just released
the first part of a DHTML game-writing tutorial, the
tutorial
will walk thru the
game writing step by step showing example code and
explaining
why things are
done.
The idea is to
show how you can create real arcade style games, and not
another
4 in a row, or
minesweeper. Hopefully people will start creating DHTML games
once
they know how
simple and fun it is.
There will be 4 or
5 more parts in the tutorial and at the end a complete
action
game is created.
Bad thing (for
this list) is that it's not done with DynAPI2 but with DOMLib. The
code
however uses same
type of syntax so for DynAPI2 users should be a breeze to
use the DynAPI2
instead (although I think slower).
The other parts of
the tutorial will be release once a week.
