Or my reflexes are very poor (but hell, I Quake or StrikeForce all the time
:-)), or my computer (Duron 700@770) is too fast for this.... It is
unplayable (IE5, W2K)
I must admit that I agree what Pascal said about lazy programming. When
people had computer with small capacities (Apple2, C64), programmers had to
finetune everything in it. Now, their reaction seems to be: "just go out a
buy yourself a GeForce3, 256Mb Ram, and, by the way, do not forget a 1,4GHz
Athlon if you want to run our games smoothly". Origin was the first to come
out with that reaction (WingCommander time). Console programmers know the
limits better, because you can't change the hardware, it HAS to run, and I
think it is more challenging this way...
