All our feedback is just hints to the IDEA team what we feel strongly about.
The vision of what IDEA is and what will get implemented is in the end the
responsibility of the team.
My personal feeling and the reason I bought IDEA, IDEA understands my java
code better than any other editor I've used. That understanding gives it:
Intelligent usage searching.
Refactoring.
Great navigation.
Type sensitive auto completion.
IDEA helps me understand my code and make it more understandable. I hope
that the IDEA team continues to build on IDEA's understanding of the code:

Dead code detection
Duplicate code detection
Programming by intention
Java doc help (now that ctrl-q makes javadoc really useful on
internal code)
