Irrespective of putting blame on one another or this student, lets analyze this simple situation
 
1 - A university admitted a student from NED. This is to say that this student's credentials, which he according to himself was in top-10 in his class, were recognized/trusted by the institute to be according to their standards.
 
2 - The student failed to perform and now in a desparate situation.
 
Trusting the student to be hardworking and intelligent, as was shown on his undergrad transcript, either
 
1 - The university Failed to polish his skills upto the standards
2 - The university system is flawed that let him be propelled to that place.
 
Maybe it goes without explaining that doors for other bright students of NED are probably now closed for a long time at this student's current grad university. One more place where NED is perhaps now blacklisted ....

Nedians r not getting RA/TAs in TOP RANKING schools neither

As someone is mentioned abt top ranking schools,I am very
sorry to say that no NEDian is able to get admission in top
schools nowadays from electrical and computer side.Top
Ranking schools here I mean MIT,Stanford,UT Austin here.I
donno abt civil,mechanical and other disciplines.
At present I know abt 20 to 25 cases from NED electrical
computer who got rejected.Students with very good
grades,very high percentile in TOEFL,GRE,but they were not
able to get admission there as compared to GIK,UET
candidates.

One of my friend from GIK is in UT Austin.I have got a
chance to meet his advisor.I have told him that I am from
NED.I have asked him that y ur graduate committee usually
reject our candidates.He told me becoz of low
percentages,lack of any research background/or proper
practical experience in the relevant field and most
important SUB STANDARD letters of recommendation.All Letters
r just like cut copy paste of one another.

Lemme explain this to u one by one,y this happens

Lack of good percentages:
1.Students usually dont pay attention to the subject becoz
they dont know the significance of that subject,some told
them to take EE or CS becoz IT is hot in the market now they
admitted to the university and run like wild horses
throughout their course duration and the annual system and
course exam format is like that no one cares till the end of
the session.
2.Secondly I didnt want to mention that here,but its a truth
-biased behavior of faculty members.If someone do something
wrong with any teacher in NED
like passing comments in the class or making noise,not
listening to the teacher,no teacher ever tried to find it
out y this going on,instead he or she marks his name and
determine in his/her heart
to fail him in order to sit in the supplementary exam.I
myself know some people who were very cool minded as
faculty members but before departing for MS,they especially
instructed the other teacher who was going to take his/her
place that fail this candidate fail that one.Simultaneously
some students are hot favorites of some instructors in such
an extent that even they tell them some important
topics/questions w! hich will be coming in the exam.
3. Thirdly there r some students with ultimate goal just
taking the degree,usually those who come on any quota basis.
4.Some old instructors r in the habit of giving less marks
and more failure rate in any course becoz they think its a
standard thing to do.


Lack of research background/proper work experience.

Mostly,I am not saying all,NED students only know the
spelling of Research,and they think is that research is
something is to cut copy paste from the internet and produce
a document or report or whatever and on top of that most
faculty members have nothing to do with any research.I can
assure you that they even dont know how to write a research
proposal and no one is interested in learning that for
students becoz I am very sorry to say that mostly faculty in
NED is just becoz of the fact they have to depart for MS so
staying here instead of 9 to 5 job,or just becoz of the fact
that the! y were not getting any good opportunity outside the
university or becoz they r doing MS in the NED so they r
forced by the dean or chairperson to teach in the departemnt
otherwise they will get into trouble in thir MS so they r
forced to do that and trying to stay in the department by
making the chairperson/Dean happy by spying,whos talking
against him or not,chairperson is busy in making VC happy to
become a Dean and so on.

Lack of good letter of recommendations

I myself is an example of this scenario.My final year
advisor told me to write a letter of recommendation
myself,he just signed it,not read a single word,becoz I knew
that he cant write a proper recommendation.
There r some faculty members who try to avoid giving letter
of recommendations becoz they think its a hassle for them to
write.They usually take one to two months to deliver their
letter of recommendation becoz they r the chairperson.

Students are like canvases,whatever u paint on them,it will
show sometime in the future.I have taught in pakistan more
than 7 years and here in US as well.It depends how teacher
present himself/herself as a good model to follow his/her
suit or his/her saying.I have taught ppl in Karachi,who were
criminals involved in 2 3 cases,but they have paid a lot of
respect to me and they have listened to me.

If my email hurts anyone,I am sorry but these r the facts
which I am forced to say becoz of so much criticism abt my
goat like personality without knowing me.
