Salam All
This is first time i am sharing my thoughts here on ECN forum. My younger fellow manzoor's email forced me to write few words. I also did my MS from US and with me a lot of guys have done their MS, some of them are in real bad financial conditions, some of them are in control and others are in gud shape. Its not becoz they are financially good back home but its becoz they worked really hard during their MS and kept a balance between their expenses and income. Lot of them still paying their credit card bills which they used to pay their fees. Point is that to come to usa is a dream for everyone and few people doesnt want to face problems. As far as RA/TA concern, most of the (90%) student get RA/TA and they perform more than 100%. this is frist case i heard of being non-competence. I am not doubtful about mansoor's ability, he is one of the best students in his batch but may be he couldnt manage the time and his studies or Allah knows it better but truely its not th!

as he mentioned even ranking schools. I have known people who are in top ranking schools, doing research and performing 100% in their RA/TA duties.
So its not to blame only about what we have been taught in NED, but also what we have learn during our those precious four years. We should see what we did as Saqib Ilyas mentioned that students are stubborn and unwilling to corporate. As far as i know him ( and i know him very well) he is very cool minded and best in teaching. If a person like him has to say these kind of things we cant just pass by and ignore it.
Please nothing offensive, but just to clarify that we should have pay some attention on our teachers (not all).
If i have hurt anyone's feelings please forgive me, i really dont want to hurt anyone.
