Like, Irene and a couple of the other people unsubscribing from this list
lately, I might unsubscribe too. Like you Devon, I am amazed about the
obsession with food, and frequency with which the same discussions repeat
themselves. The nasty tone of the discussions seem to permeate these
discussions. Having signed on to the list the very first week it opened,
I have lurked most of the time. About four years ago, the last time I
said anything on the list, I raised the issue of environmental justice. I
was immediately flamed for interjecting issues of grave concern and grave
threat to people of color.
I am sure there are many on this list who might like to talk about
something else.
