Dear Kimberly,

As you know, Sandra Taylor and some others had a problem with your
posts about the Clinton matter. But in support of your posts

Yet, Sandra's and the few other objections must have made you defensive
and quick to apologize. This is an issue of the list ecology- a human
social environment.

I agree with mtmolle's wise comments about the importance of the
Clinton coup to all ecofeminists, and feel you were too quick
to apologize for being wise! (not an atypical behavior among
females still, but one which we must all overcome).

Disinterest and disconnection (Sandra's "spare me", others) from an
event as major as the US impeachment/removal/coup,
would send the entire planet from the environmental frying-pan into
the environmental fire.

Your polite willingness to withdraw from such a critical
topic did yourself a disservice: You were correct to raise
this critical issue. Your too-soon willingness to oblige someone
who did not understand your wisdom just shows how much work women
need to do to esteem their own concern and wisdom,
and compassionately but calmly stand one's ground, no matter where
the resistance to interconnected awareness comes from in the human
environment.

As I wrote to Sandra Taylor, her initial posts seemed to fly in the face
of most ecofeminist theory and worldwide interconnected political
awareness. The effort to stop an antifeminist coup in the United States,
or any major country or continent where global corporations are so
powerful, should galvanize all ecofeminists' concern and support;
or their world will be one step closer to ecocatastrophe. Your
bringing this matter to the attention of a list like this one
was wise: stand your ground, and let's keep this going, for the
true benefit of everyone on the list!
