they came back up just before 5pm eastern.  and i got a call at 7pm 
eastern from a rep ...
told her that i knew about it two hours ago!  boy, are they slow.

and, fwiw, i've had jcp asking me all day for status.  even they don't 
know what's going on!

of course, i'd be happy to share (off list) some alternatives to this 
lunacy.
