  Dear Valued Trading Partner,
  As of April 1, GXS (Global eXchange Services) will become JCPenneyÂ’s 
exclusive direct network provider. All direct EDI communication with JCPenney 
will go through GXS. 
  JCPenney will maintain the existing connection to Information Exchange (IE), 
which has been purchased by GXS. In order maintain direct communications with 
JCPenney using Information Exchange (IE), you will need to sign a contract with 
GXS before May 31, 2005. If you are currently using IE with JCPenney, you must 
make a decision for your network traffic before the end of May.  
  JCPenney will also maintain the current connection to the GXS network.

Nancy, they do, but you have to pay them an extra $15/month in order to
get notified when they are down...
