Heck my pharmacy (Walgreen's on 4 Mile and Rt 32) calls ME when a prescription
is by their reckoning running low. The machine asks
me to "press one for a refill" and then if the scrip is out of refills, they
contact the doc. Their machine calls me again when it's
ready for pickup.

For anyone on "standing" medication this is a terrific service. (Oops. That's
a hanging slider right down Broadway, isn't it?)
