I use the equation editor and one problem with using it is this person said they used Word 97. The EE is very flakey with Word 97, which I also use. It never gives me any problem creating an equation but will frequently crash when I go back to edit an equation. Plus, sometimes, I'll edit an equation but when I print and the fields get updated, the equation will revert back to its pre-edited version.
I've talked with Microsoft technical support several times and they have confirmed all the problems I have had. Their only suggestion was to upgrade to a newer version of Word when, they say, the EE does not have these problems.
