Sorry to bother the group with what is probabily a simple problem. I'n new to Microsoft Word and I need to know how to represent X-Bar as a symbol. That is, how do you get the bar over the X or over a lower case x? I have both Word 97 and Word 2000. I've checked the help and found out how to overstrike and that would be fine expect the overstrike occurrs right in the middle of the X.
