Ray, I believe all you will see in PSK-D is the idle tone. That is only for use with the paddles for input or the K3 Utility, or there is one other program that sends ASCII text to the K3 in that data submode. Go back to DATA A. If you need to determine whether the soundcard is sending data out, find one of those small iPod amplifiers having a 3.5mm stereo jack on it and plug the audio cable into that instead of the K3. If you hear sound, plug it back into the K3, but if it is silent, then go back to your software application and fix it so your can get sound out.
