Interesting... Guess I am having trouble wrapping my mind around it. The bandwidth of the channel is supposed to be 2.4 KHz. But the implication on the P3 scope is that it is an AM signal -- 1.2 KHz below the carrier and 1.2 KHz above the carrier. That's not enough bandwidth for a SSB signal. Maybe the scope is centered so that it is 2.4 KHz above the carrier and 2.4 KHz below. That might make sense (although it would imply a 4.8 KHz wide AM/DSB signal).
No matter what the scope says, I don't understand why it has to be put into DATA REV in order to decode signals obviously sent as USB. Glad to know something isn't broken, but I don't understand the DATA REV bit. 73, Bob On Thu, Jan 31, 2019 at 6:20 PM Bob McGraw K4TAX <[email protected]> wrote: > That is normal to comply with the 60M frequency and BW allowed. > > 73 > Bob, K4TAX > > > Sent from my iPhone > > > On Jan 31, 2019, at 5:15 PM, Bob <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > I've been using my K3 & K3s for years using the DATA mode.
