Maybe it's just a supply issue that I was seeing. CM500 is a popular inexpensive ham headset and even though I do not own one, I was hoping that it was not discontinued. Before my original post it looked like Sweetwater also was out of stock: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/CM500--yamaha-cm500-closed-back-broadcast-headset-with-boom-mic Sorry, the Yamaha CM500 Closed-back Broadcast Headset with Boom Mic is no longer available. We've left this page up for reference only. Check out the great alternatives on this page or call toll-free (800) 222-4700 to speak with a Sweetwater Sales Engineer about similar products.

I just bought a second CM500 from Sweetwater. Great customer service. They were out of stock but let me know as soon as new stock arrived.
