I see some hams have combined the KPA100 with the KAT100-2 in a separate case. Is Elecraft planning on modifying these kits so they can be assembled into a case separate from the K2 without modifications? I love my K2 with all of its features, including the internal battery. It would be real handy to plug the radio into one module and have the KPA100 with the KAT100-2 available in the shack, while keeping the battery powered K2 for portable work. I am a little shy about applying someone else's modifications to my rig. If Elecraft is not planning on offering these kits in this form, is there someone's modifications that you would recommend?
