The F5 key DOES NOT rebuild your database - it is used to SELECT, at
startup of the Emailer application, the mail database you'd like Emailer
to USE FROM THEN ON. It usually is used when you have multiple databases,
which is hardly recommended.
(To actually rebuild your database, HOLD DOWN THE OPTION KEY when
starting the Emailer application and choose Typical or Advanced. Normal
maintenance calls for Typical 99.9 percent of the time.)
I would NOT do that now, because Emailer is looking at the wrong
database. Not having your HD hierarchy in front of me, it would be
foolhardy to give you a suggested path from the root of your hard drive,
but the normal path from the folder that contains the Claris Emailer
Folder is:
Claris Emailer Folder
Claris Emailer Files (folder)
Mail (folder)
Mail Database
Mail Index
That's the database you should PROBABLY be looking at.
I rarely use all caps, but it's important that you see the difference.
