I agree. I don't know WHERE people get the idea that X doesn't take down 
the whole machine when it crashes? It takes it down -- worse.

And there is no way to tell what did it. At least on 9 I know exactly why 
I crashed in the rare event that I do. Usually it's a website or lack of 
memory. Neither the fault of the OS actually.

Again, reinstalling is what AC Tech support tells you to do. To quote two 
shops near me that went out of business, it was because "of so many 
problems".

I agree with the GUI stuff, but most annoying is the internal 
stuff..."the way it works" (or doesn't)

There is a file you can trash to alleviate this, but who knows where it 
is?

And X users will swear that you "don't really use  your machine that 
much". How much more can a machine be used than for a server????
